Full Stack .NET Developer | Northampton (2/3 days a week) | 50k-55k

If you’re excited about AI… or frustrated you’re not allowed to use it… this might be the role for you.

• You’re already using AI and can feel how much faster and better it’s making you
• Or… you know it’s the future, but your company is blocking it or barely scratching the surface

You’ll join a small SaaS business (25 people, part of a larger group) that is genuinely leaning into AI.

You’ll be working with tools like Claude and Git Hub Copilot
, and importantly… you’ll have the freedom to try new tools and shape how AI is used across the team.

If you haven’t used AI much yet, that’s fine.

What matters is that you want to.

• Building new features (including customer portals and AI-driven tools)
• Working across multiple systems and products — context switching is a big part of the job
• Maintaining some legacy (being honest with you)
• Speaking directly with the MD and commercial team to understand what the business actually needs
• Feeding ideas back and helping shape what gets built

If you enjoy understanding why you’re building something, not just being told what to build, you’ll like this.

• You’ll properly develop your AI skillset (even if you’re early on)

You’ll get exposure to the full business, not just tickets in a sprint
• You’ll work with a genuinely supportive MD who invests in your progression
• You’ll be part of a stable business (not a chaotic AI startup expecting 12-hour days)
• You’ll have a voice — your ideas on tools, tech and approach will be listened to

• .NET experience (3–5 years ideal)
• Some frontend experience (React, Vue, Angular — not precious)
• Someone comfortable switching between projects and systems
• Strong communication — you can hold your own with non-technical people
• Most importantly… someone who is pro-AI and wants to use it properly
