As a QA Engineer
, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality software by working closely with the QA Engineering Manager and wider technology teams. You’ll be part of a collaborative, in-house QA function, contributing to testing across modern cloud-based platforms.

, ensuring quality across the full technology stack—from web and mobile to APIs.

Location:
Negotiable - Wolverhampton, Tewkesbury, Norwich

Hours:
Full Time - 37 hpw Mon‑Fri

Contract:
Permanent

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Designing and executing test plans and test cases based on product and technical requirements
  • Performing both manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers
  • Building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
  • Supporting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Running performance and load testing
    , analysing results, and identifying optimisation opportunities
  • Logging, tracking, and prioritising defects, ensuring timely resolution
  • Embedding testing in CI/CD pipelines and promoting best QA practices
  • Collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and Dev Ops
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation in QA processes
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in a QA role with test automation
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Hub
  • Hands‑on experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
  • Programming/scripting knowledge in at least one language (Python, JavaScript, Type Script, Java, or C#)
  • Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Gatling, or similar)
Desirable
  • ISTQB or similar QA certification
  • Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure)
