This is a 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst role supporting a Microsoft Windows XP/7 environment, providing incident, problem, and change management, hardware/software, application support, equipment setup, new starters/leavers, AD account and Exchange mailbox creation, and general administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Call logging, Incident, Problem and Change Management
- 1st/2nd line Hardware and Software support
- Application Support
- Setting up of new equipment
- New Starters/Leavers
- Creating AD Accounts/Exchange Mailboxes
- General Administration (documentation, processes, procedures, how to guides etc.)
Required skills and experience:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience supporting a Windows 7 & Exchange environment
- Familiarity with ITIL
- Knowledge of MS Windows XP/7, Active Directory, and MS Office;
Windows Server experience is a bonus - Previous ITIL experience preferred
- Willingness to work for a prestigious client with a global presence
Salary on offer is 25K. This role is based in the Midlands, easily commutable from M40, Rugby, Banbury, Warwickshire, Coventry and Northampton.
