About the Role Were working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Northampton seeking an experienced Corporate & Commercial Associate Solicitor or Junior Partner to join their growing Legal 500 recognised team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor with 5+ years PQE to join one of the largest corporate and commercial teams in Northamptonshire. The firm supports a diverse portfolio of local, regional, and national clients, advising on a full range of corporate matters.
The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent client management skills, and the confidence to lead on complex matters. Youll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
Responsibilities- Mergers, acquisitions, and disposals
- Succession planning
- Employee share schemes (including EMIs, EBTs, and EOTs)
- Restructuring and demergers
- Finance and governance documents (shareholders agreements, articles of association, partnership agreements)
- Commercial contracts and franchising arrangements
- Joint ventures and corporate reorganisations
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in corporate and commercial law.
- Broad experience advising on complex corporate transactions and commercial agreements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients and external advisors.
- Experience supervising junior team members and supporting their professional development.

- Confident, collaborative, and adaptable, with a focus on delivering results.
