We're recruiting for an experienced and organised Parts Manager to join a successful and growing automotive business within the materials handling sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with parts, stores, inventory or stock control experience from an automotive or related industry who enjoys problem-solving, sourcing parts, and providing excellent support to both customers and engineers.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth supply of parts for workshop repairs, service engineers, rental fleets and customer orders, helping keep operations running efficiently.

The role
  • Source and order automotive parts, workshop consumables and service items
  • Manage stock levels and carry out regular inventory checks
  • Handle customer enquiries regarding parts availability and pricing
  • Support the service and workshop teams with parts requirements and updates
  • Identify alternative part numbers and cost-effective sourcing solutions
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries
  • Process returns, exchanges and warranty claims where required
  • Organise and assist with stock takes and price reviews
  • Maintain an organised and efficient parts department
You will ideally have :
  • Previous experience in Parts Management, Parts Advisor, Stores or Inventory roles in an automotive or related environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills and confidence using stock management systems
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and cost control
Hours

Monday to Friday

8:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
