We're recruiting for an experienced and organised Parts Manager to join a successful and growing automotive business within the materials handling sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with parts, stores, inventory or stock control experience from an automotive or related industry who enjoys problem-solving, sourcing parts, and providing excellent support to both customers and engineers.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth supply of parts for workshop repairs, service engineers, rental fleets and customer orders, helping keep operations running efficiently.
The role- Source and order automotive parts, workshop consumables and service items
- Manage stock levels and carry out regular inventory checks
- Handle customer enquiries regarding parts availability and pricing
- Support the service and workshop teams with parts requirements and updates
- Identify alternative part numbers and cost-effective sourcing solutions
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries
- Process returns, exchanges and warranty claims where required
- Organise and assist with stock takes and price reviews
- Maintain an organised and efficient parts department
- Previous experience in Parts Management, Parts Advisor, Stores or Inventory roles in an automotive or related environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills and confidence using stock management systems
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and cost control
Monday to Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
