Full Time, Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours

Are you a hands on maintenance inspector? Have you directly managed trades staff including Carpenters and Plumbers to complete works in domestic properties?

Sellick Partnership LTD are proud to assist a well-known Housing organisation in the Northamptonshire area, in the recruitment of a Voids Surveyor covering Northamptonshire

The ideal candidate will be a great communicator at all levels, who enjoys working alongside tradespeople to complete works on time and survey properties to ensure effective voids turnaround.

Duties of the Empty Properties Surveyor include:

Managing a team of around 10-15 Tradespeople to deliver service requirements, including planning and allocating workloads
Ensuring that properties are repaired to the companies lettable standard and returned to the lettings team ready to let in the shortest time possible
Conducting pre and post inspections
Building schedule of rates and WIP
Monitoring and directly controlling the use of other resources including materials, plant, vehicles, hand held devices etc
Operating and maintaining safety management systems in accordance with the requirements of companies Health & Safety policies
Carrying out legionella reports

As a Voids Surveying candidate, you will have:

Expert surveying and property knowledge
Full driving licence (and access to own car)
SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable, but not essential)
Housing knowledge (preferred, but not essential)
