About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Water Hygiene Operative to join their expanding Water Management team, supporting a range of commercial and rail industry sites across Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing department delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and water hygiene services. Whether you already have experience within the water hygiene sector or are looking to build a long-term career in the industry, we are keen to hear from individuals who have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high standards.
Key Details
- Hours:
Monday to Friday (07:30 to 16:30) - Location:
Northampton / Buckinghamshire with travel between sites - Contract:
Temp to Perm opportunity - Van and fuel card provided
Key Responsibilities
- Temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems
- Water sampling in accordance with current guidance
- Routine flushing of little-used outlets
- TMV inspection, servicing and testing
- Shower head and hose cleaning and disinfection
- Cold water storage tank inspections
- Completing site records and reports accurately
- Reporting defects and non-conformances
- Maintaining excellent communication with clients and colleagues
Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be organised with strong attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Be competent using mobile devices and electronic reporting systems
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Be able to provide relevant work references upon request
