Spencer Clarke are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager; this is to work in a home for children and young people with Complex Needs in Northampton.

The home is run by a fantastic organisation with a clear vision for the young people in their care, and transparent plans for progression and professional development for all members of staff from Registered Manager to Support Worker. As a Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to recruit and support the team with full autonomy. What the company offers:

  • Salary dependent on experience and knowledge: £60,000.00 per year

What the post requires:

  • A minimum of 5 years' working in Residential Childcare
  • At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff in a Deputy Manager role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce/Residential Childcare
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
  • Must have a "GOOD" or "OUTSTANDING" OFSTED inspection within the last two years

What the post responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements
  • Meeting all budgetary, regulatory, and service development targets
  • Matching potential young people with the current residents
  • Ensuring young people have a positive influence from the staff team through your leadership and management of the home
  • Preparing reports and attending a range of meetings, such as review meetings with multi-agency partners, management meetings, and interviewing new potential staff for your team
