Digital Clinical Facilitators

Overview

The Digital Clinical Facilitators will work as part of a dynamic Chief Clinical Information Officer team, supporting Digital Clinical Leads and Transformation Specialists to manage the ongoing development, education, implementation and training of our NGH EPR. They will facilitate the digital transformation of new and existing solutions across the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.

• Support the efficient and effective management of EPR development, education, implementation and training.
• Facilitate the introduction and upgrade of digital solutions across NGH, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with end users to document current and future state processes and contribute to hazard workshops.
• Participate in audits, research and benefits realisation data collection, analysis and improvement of processes.
• Act as a clinical representative within digital teams to ensure technology is used effectively and improves patient safety.
• Lead on specific elements of digital system implementation and quality improvement programmes as directed.
• Deliver visibility across clinical areas, support testing of clinical systems and contribute to lessons‑learnt reviews.
• Communicate risks, support clinical safety and promote the clinical safety officer role within digital projects.
• Advocate for digital solutions and promote digital literacy and training across the workforce.
• Represent the Group locally, regionally and nationally where required and support partnership working across the NW Midlands Acute Provider Network.

• Registered nurse with a specialty in paediatrics or adult nursing (including theatres and critical care).
• Experience in digital health technology, e.g., electronic patient record implementation or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of clinical processes and the ability to translate them into effective digital solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Full‑time role with a clinical commitment to be agreed upon appointment.
• Travel to hospital sites required.
