In every store, there is a talented Five Guys General Manager who manages, controls and is accountable for the store's day-to-day operations and results. This includes: leading, inspiring and coaching the teams to ensure the restaurant delivers profitability, optimises all sales opportunities while delivering an excellent level of customer service.

- Delivering perfect burgers and fries – jumping in and working on the line shoulder to shoulder with the crew and managers
- Taking full ownership of your P&L, driving sales whilst controlling costs
- Running smooth day‑to‑day operations while planning long‑term, spotting potential and developing a strong talent pipeline
- Managing HR issues and rewarding and recognising staff when needed
- Demonstrating close attention to detail
- Minimum 2+ years of general management experience in a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment, as a seasoned operator who knows how to run a business
- Obsessed with the guest experience with proven track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews
- Full P&L ownership with expertise at driving top‑line sales, managing complex budgets, and controlling costs (Labour/COGS) to maximise GP without compromising on quality
- Strategic leadership – building a culture, developing managers, planning succession and creating a strong talent pipeline
- Operational excellence – total command of Food Safety, Health & Safety compliance and maintaining 5‑star hygiene ratings across the business
- Opportunity to take on a higher volume store, new store opening, area trainer, district manager or a role in the support office
