Experteer Overview In this role you will provide strategic and operational leadership across two GP practices, ensuring efficient, compliant, and patient-focused services. You will work closely with GPs, clinicians, and administrative teams to drive improvements and sustainable performance. The role offers the chance to shape two established practices and enhance patient experience will lead service and operational improvements while maintaining governance and regulatory standards.
This is a hands-on leadership position with a clear impact on patient care and practice development. Pay / Benefits
- Oversee day-to-day operational management across two GP practices
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary administrative and non-clinical teams
- Manage recruitment, induction, performance, absence and staff development
- Support workforce planning and staffing levels across both sites
- Collaborate with GP Partners, clinicians and senior staff to meet objectives
- Monitor performance, activity and key operational KPIs
- Support financial management, budget monitoring and resource use
- Maintain governance, policies, procedures across both sites
- Ensure compliance with CQC, NHS standards, employment law and policies
- Assist with CQC preparation, inspections and regulatory compliance
- Maintain safeguarding, information governance, health and safety and risk management systems
- Support patient engagement and handle complaints/feedback
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, access and patient experience
- Collaborate with PCNs, ICBs, community services and external stakeholders
- Lead and implement service and operational improvements across both practices
- Ensure effective communication and consistency between the two sites
- Tasks Previous experience as Practice Manager, Deputy Practice Manager, Operations Manager or similar healthcare management role
- Strong knowledge of General Practice operational requirements
- Experience in managing and developing teams
- Understanding of CQC regulations, NHS contracts and primary care governance
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with clinicians, staff, patients and external stakeholders
- Key requirements £45,000 salary (depending on experience)
