Area Manager – Veterinary Services

Location: Greater London

Leadership role supporting a group of small animal practices in Greater London. Are you a veterinary surgeon seeking a step up? Want to truly benefit from the performance of your team?

• Hold MRCVS registration
• Significant clinical experience within first‑opinion work
• Leadership experience within a veterinary practice, ideally at a multisite level

You will be the direct line manager for a team of Senior & Lead Veterinary Surgeons, as well as have direct reports from Head RVNs and Practice Managers. This role supports the leadership and clinical teams across the group and provides visible leadership for the practices.

You will oversee clinical standards, commercial performance, team motivation, budget management, team development, client outreach, and other duties. A strong expectation remains to work clinically and engage with cases on site with the permanent teams. You will have flexible autonomy to allocate time between sites and duties to deliver the best possible standards.

£75,000 base salary, plus a competitive benefits package and a lucrative bonus structure that ties your success to the group’s profits.
