A leading international distribution business that is renowned for its innovative way of working coupled with solid traditional values is planning to grow considerably over the next 12 months. After a number of considerable acquisitions there are a number of key positions they need to recruit for, however the most pressing is for a Finance Manager. Taking charge of an established team your role will be split between providing support and mentoring the existing team and also working very closely with the senior management on the commercial business planning and analysis.
Initially the role will commence on an interim basis and last for around 18 months while they assess the viability of their long-term plans.
Ideally you will be:
- Vastly experienced in the management and mentoring of a team, as well as being able to deliver results in a performance-based business
- A commercial thinker who will want to make changes and that can demonstrate their ability to improve performance
- Ambitious and keen to progress your experience in a business that is going through a significant period of transition.
- Someone who has a solid understanding of all aspects of monthly accounting, variance analysis and revenue recognition
