Working closely with the Area/Operations Manager and other key members of the operational team to deliver results in line with customer and  SLA’s / KPI’s. Demonstrate a leadership approach that promotes an inclusive culture, leading to high levels of leadership trust

Safety & Compliance
  • Operates within legislation, policy and process in all matters relating to safety, health and environment and ensures risks are minimised
  • Promote a safe working environment, addressing any safety hazards or risks
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
People Management
  • Leads effective people management process adherence, and continuously develops the team through on-going coaching and feedback
  • Lead the team, carrying out daily reviews of workload activity, stock volume and demand within your shift/team. Monitoring key KPI’s to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement, including safety, Engagement and Performance
  • Accountable for all colleague hours within your team, ensuring an accurate reflection of activity for each day, to ensure correct information flows through to payroll.
  • Produce regular reports on statistics of the warehouse operation
  • Deliver effective and meaningful shift briefs and regular briefs to your teams, ensuring clear communication channels of relevant and key information.
  • Identifies and nurtures talent within the team to drive a succession pipeline for the future
  • Engage and inspire colleagues, measured through “Happy at Work”
  • Actively champion wellbeing within the team listening to colleagues needs and respond proactively to resolve issues at pace
