Harborough Mews Care Ltd is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our children's residential home in Northampton.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, child-focused leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, lead and develop the staff team, and ensure that children receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
Lead the day-to-day operation of the children's home.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child-centred care.
Lead, supervise and develop the staff team.
Ensure effective care planning, risk assessment and behaviour support.
Maintain compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
Maintain strong Ofsted readiness and drive continuous improvement.
Work closely with the Responsible Individual, placing authorities, social workers and other professionals.
Promote trauma-informed and relationship-based practice, including PACE principles.
Ensure children's wishes, feelings, safety and outcomes remain at the centre of practice.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has significant experience within children's residential care.
Has previous management or deputy management experience within a children's home.
Has strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements and the Children's Homes Regulations.
Holds, or is working towards/eligible to undertake, the relevant Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification for Residential Childcare.
Is confident leading, supervising and developing a residential care team.
Can demonstrate strong safeguarding, risk-management and decision-making skills.
Is organised, resilient and able to provide calm and effective leadership.
Has a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager is highly desirable.

Hours:

40 per week, with flexibility and on-call responsibilities
