CNC Machinist
Location:
Northamptonshire
Contract Length: 6 or 12 months
Start Date:

Shift Pattern:
Early/Late shifts
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our client on a 6 or 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.
Open to PAYE, umbrella or Ltd contractors for this vacancy. Do have some flexibility of rates, looking at around £30 p/h.
Key Responsibilities:
Set, operate, and adjust CNC machines - 5 axis machining
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits where required
Inspect finished components using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
Ensure work is completed to quality standards and within production deadlines
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances
Carry out quality checks
Experience with specific controls - Fanuc or Heidenhain
