Upholster

We have a current opportunity for a Upholsterer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Northampton. Upholsterer Mon - Fri 6.30 am - 3.00 pm Up to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime available if wanted (evenings and weekends) We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced upholsterer to join the upholstery team at a leading global furniture group renowned for blending minimalist Scandinavian and robust British design.

What you'll be doing Handcrafting upholstered products to a consistently high standard, delivering quality work within agreed timescales Making sure every piece of furniture leaving the workshop meets the department's exacting quality standards Creating accurate patterns and templates that account for the unique characteristics of different fabrics and materials Interpreting design briefs and applying the most effective upholstery methods to bring each piece to life Experience/Skills Proven expertise in high-quality soft seating upholstery Strong pattern and template-making skills across a wide range of fabrics and materials The ability to take a design brief and translate it into practical, effective upholstery solutions A collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues in other departments to keep production smooth and customer commitments on track
