Sewing Machinist

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for Sewing Machinists from the Shoe Industry to join our client, manufacturing luxury goods on a long-term basis.

YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE SHOE INDUSTRY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE

Location: Northampton

Shift: Monday-Thursday 07:30am-16:30pm, and 7:30am- 12:30pm

Pay Rate: 12.21/hr

Duties:

• Accurately operating a Flat bed & Post bed Sewing Machine
• Preparing & Skiving Leather for sewing
• Stitch marking & Hole punching of leather
• Supporting other production operatives to produce high-quality goods
• Regularly & consistently quality checking products

The ideal candidate must:

• Have previous sewing machine experience in the Shoe Industry
• Display a desire to learn about the industry and the nature of the business
• Be able to regularly commute to work each day
• Have proven work experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Be able to consistently hit production KPI's
• Show a positive & friendly attitude to work
