Overview
Have you got great attention to detail? Are you passionate about manufacturing? Are you looking for long term work at long-standing, luxury goods manufacturer? Impact Recruitment is recruiting Sewing Machinists from the Shoe Industry to join our client, manufacturing luxury goods on a long-term basis.
YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH SEWING MACHINES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE

Location: Northampton
Shift: Monday-Thursday 07:30am-16:30pm, and 7:30am-12:30pm Friday
Pay Rate: £12.21/hr
Duties- Accurately operate a Flat bed & Post bed Sewing Machine
- Prepare & skive leather for sewing
- Stitch marking & hole punching of leather
- Support other production operatives to produce high-quality goods
- Regularly & consistently quality check products
- Have previous sewing machine experience in the Shoe Industry
- Display a desire to learn about the industry and the nature of the business
- Be able to regularly commute to work each day
- Have proven work experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Be able to consistently hit production KPI's
- Show a positive & friendly attitude to work
