IRD Recruitment is currently hiring Machine Operators to support a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity based in Northampton (NN7).

This role offers stable weekday hours, a supportive working environment, and a pay increase after 12 weeks.

Job Title:

Machine Operator – Flooring Warehouse

Location:

Northampton, NN7
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday

Working Hours:

06:30 AM – 15:30 PM

Pay Rate:
£13.00 per hour

🔧 Key Responsibilities

* Operating cutting, edging, or processing machinery used in flooring production

* Measuring, preparing, and processing flooring materials to specification

* Loading materials into machines and monitoring performance

* Carrying out basic machine maintenance and reporting faults

* Supporting wider warehouse operations when required

* Ensuring all safety procedures and quality standards are followed

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

✅ Candidate Profile

* Previous experience operating machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

* Strong awareness of safety procedures and attention to detail

* Confident working with manual handling and production equipment

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team

* Available for full-time, weekday hours
