Salary/Bonuses: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience) + overtime & benefits

As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and refurbishment of a wide range of construction plant equipment within a workshop environment. Machinery will include diggers, excavators, dozers, and other earthmoving plant. The role will involve mechanical fault‑finding, inspections, planned maintenance, and breakdown repairs, ensuring equipment is prepared to a high standard before being returned to site or hire.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction plant machinery; however, candidates with strong transferable mechanical skills are highly encouraged to apply. This may include backgrounds in HGVs, agricultural machinery, forklifts, material handling equipment, or other heavy mechanical sectors. You should be mechanically minded, comfortable working in a workshop environment, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
