Turbo Technics is a well-established precision engineering company based in Brackmills, Northampton. With over 45 years of experience, we specialise in the manufacture of high-quality parts and machinery for the turbocharger industry.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our Machine Shop team.

• Operation of manual lathes and milling machines
• Producing components safely, accurately, and efficiently to specification
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, brass, plastics, and nickel cast iron
• Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards

• Experience in manual surface grinding and cylindrical grinding
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manual machining role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good xlqdzyr understanding of engineering tolerances and quality standards

40 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm

• Excellent rates of pay, dependent on experience

• Holiday entitlement starting at 23 days plus 8 statutory holidays, increasing to 26 days plus statutory holidays with length of service
