Description

This is an opportunity to join a cutting‑edge manufacturing operation where precision, reliability, and engineering excellence are critical. You'll be hands‑on with complex production equipment, working at the forefront of advanced processing technologies in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment. Working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights), you'll benefit from extended time off while playing a key role in keeping production running at peak performance.

What

You'll Be Doing
  • Carrying out fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenance on complex production equipment
  • Supporting uptime and minimising disruption through effective and proactive maintenance strategies
  • Working with specialist systems involving gases, chemicals, and high‑spec process equipment
  • Driving continuous improvement across equipment reliability and performance
  • Mentoring and supporting junior technicians on shift
  • Assisting with equipment installs, moves, and site‑based engineering projects
  • Managing consumables, spares, and supporting safe handling of materials
  • Liaising with external suppliers and technical specialists
  • Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
What We're Looking For
  • Strong electrical engineering background (including low and high voltage)
  • Experience with fault finding on complex equipment in a manufacturing or process environment
  • Understanding of PLCs and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Comfortable working with hazardous materials in a controlled environment
  • Engineering qualification (HND, Degree, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in high‑tech manufacturing, process, or regulated industries
