Manufacturing Operative - Roller Assembly

We are currently Manufacturing Operatives for the Roller Department to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for the manufacture of components in accordance with drawings and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Grooving, Tapering, Lagging and Assembly of Roller components in accordance with the drawings and customer specifications Reporting any defective tooling, jigs, machines and fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved. Meet or exceed piecework quotas by completing a specific number of units or tasks within a set time frame. Responsibilities are listed in the Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 requirements, which are the inspection, identification, and packaging of company products Responsibilities as listed in the Health and Safety Policy Maintaining a high level of housekeeping Assistance in working in other departments when necessary Maintaining IHASCO training when necessary Requirements:
Previous experience working with a factory setting or engineering environment Reliability and good communication skills. Good attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
