Hours:
Monday to Thursday | 6:30am - 4:00pm Pay: £13.25 - £14.50 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Looking for a role where you can develop specialist skills and enjoy a genuine work-life balance? We're recruiting for a Production Operative / Coil Winder to join a well-established manufacturer in Stroud, producing high-quality components for a range of industries. The Role As a Coil Winder, you'll receive full training to carry out a variety of specialist manufacturing tasks, including:
Programming machinery to wind precision copper coils Winding different gauges of copper wire onto components Carrying out electrical testing and quality inspections Soldering, crimping and moulding components Working with intricate parts where precision and attention to detail are essential Recording completed work accurately using company systems Successful candidates will also be invited to attend a taster day, giving you the opportunity to experience the role and meet the team before starting.
What we're looking for Previous assembly or manufacturing experience Excellent attention to detail and good manual dexterity Confidence using hand tools and working with small components Ability to follow technical drawings and work instructions Basic IT skills for recording production information A positive attitude and willingness to learn An overhead crane licence would be advantageous but is not essential Why apply?
