Monday to Friday | 08:30am 5:00pm Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent Production Operative Temp to Perm Opportunity Quest Employment is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Brixworth . The role involves working within a specialist production environment where precision, quality, and attention to detail are essential.
Please note:
The role initially operates on a day shift (08:30am 5:00pm, Monday to Friday) . Candidates must be fully flexible and willing to move onto a set shift pattern after securing a permanent position to meet business requirements. Future Shift Pattern (Permanent Employees) Monday to Friday | 6:00am 2:00pm Monday to Friday | 2:00pm 10:00pm Sunday to Thursday | 10:00pm 6:00am
* Pay increase after transfer to permanent contract 30-minute unpaid break per shift.
The Role As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by accurately weighing, measuring, and blending liquid and powdered materials in line with detailed production instructions. Your duties will include:
Accurately weighing and dosing liquid and powdered materials Following detailed production paperwork and batch instructions Completing production records accurately Handling raw materials safely and efficiently Performing manual handling, including lifting heavier containers of liquids and materials Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and housekeeping Working in line with health & safety procedures at all times Wearing the required PPE provided by the company What We're Looking For We're looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in producing high-quality work.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent attention to detail Confidence working with numerical data and production paperwork Good communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn The ability to perform manual handling and lift heavier products safely Flexibility to work all future shift patterns when required Previous production or manufacturing experience (preferred) Previous experience working within a COSHH-controlled or chemical manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to the location of the site What's in It for You?
