CNC Setter​/Operator

Location: Northamptonshire

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator (Aluminium Systems) on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a Permanent basis.

Roles & Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery to cut, drill and machine aluminium profiles. Upload and run CNC programmes using Logi Kal or similar software. Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists and production schedules. Set up CNC machines, tooling and materials for production runs. Ensure all work is completed accurately and to specification. Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor faults.

Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop environment. Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices. Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines. Additional Responsibilities Previous experience machining aluminium profiles preferred.

Experience with aluminium glazing systems such as Kawneer, Novastruct, Schueco or Metal Technology is advantageous. Familiarity with Logi Kal or similar CNC programming software is beneficial. Assist in other areas of the workshop when required. Experience,

Skills & Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering or technical drawings. Competence in setting up CNC machines and tooling. Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work. Good problem-solving skills and ability to carry out basic machine fault finding. Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Good awareness of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment. Working Pattern & Benefits

Hours:
