Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Closing Room Fitter to join a respected footwear manufacturer based in Northampton a town renowned for its heritage in British shoe manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled footwear professional who takes pride in producing high-quality products and has previous experience within a closing room environment.

The Role As a Closing Room Fitter, you will play a key role in the final stages of the shoe manufacturing process, ensuring each pair is completed to the highest standard. Your duties will include:
Gluing and fitting soles to footwear with precision Carrying out closing room and finishing operations Inspecting products to ensure exceptional quality standards Working from production specifications and quality requirements Handling leather and footwear components with care Supporting production targets while maintaining accuracy Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe Following all company health and safety procedures What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Closing Room Fitter or in a similar footwear manufacturing role

Experience with in a shoe manufacturing environment is essential Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship Good manual dexterity and practical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards What's in it for you?
