Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 (38-hour week)
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30, Friday 06:00-12:00

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter & Operator to join their machining team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy precision engineering environment manufacturing complex components using advanced CNC milling machinery and specialist materials.

As a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines, producing high-precision components to exact specifications.
Working from engineering drawings, you will manufacture small and medium batch components from a range of materials including stainless steel, Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy alloys while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
You will become a key member of the milling department, supporting the continued success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines
- Manufacture precision-engineered components to specification
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
- Machine a variety of materials including 304, 316, Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy
- Inspect components using precision measuring equipment
- Produce work to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer
- Strong experience with Fanuc controls
- Programming experience essential
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience machining a range of materials, including exotic alloys
- High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude
