About The Role
The Production Operative position in Northampton offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Thursday, 07:30-16:30, and Fridays until 12:30. Remuneration ranges between £12.71 and £13.50 per hour, dependent on experience. Working within a manufacturing business, you will conduct visual inspections of finished goods, identify defects, and execute product finishing duties. Prior production knowledge is advantageous, though comprehensive training ensures newcomers succeed.

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Northampton. This is a hands‑on role working within a fast‑paced production environment, helping to ensure products are completed to a high standard before being dispatched to customers.
Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out visual checks on finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify any faults, defects, or issues and report them to the relevant team member.
- Perform basic product finishing tasks where required.
- Support production processes and ensure work is completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Follow company quality procedures and health & safety guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to agreed standards.
