Production Operative

Location:

Northampton, NN4 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £30,000 £ 33,000 per annum, depending on experience

• Operating CAD cutting tables, ideally ZUND.
• Operating CNC and other woodworking machinery.
• Setting up and safely operating production machinery.
• Working from technical drawings and production specifications.
• Ensuring products are manufactured accurately and to a high standard.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting different areas of the production line as required.
• Learning the full production process and developing knowledge across the business.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

• Minimum 6 months' relevant production or manufacturing experience .
• Previous experience operating CAD tables, ideally ZUND.
• Experience with CNC or woodworking machinery.
• HOMAG experience would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and production specifications.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a busy production environment.

£30,000 £ 33,000 per annum , depending on experience. Overtime paid at 1.25x hourly rate for the first 7.5 hours . Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate after 7.5 hours . 2x hourly rate on Sundays and Bank Holidays .
