Northampton £40,000-£45,000 per annum + 15% shift allowance
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton on a permanent basis.
Our client is a market leading precision engineering, advanced manufacturing business that specialises in machining complex, medium sized components for highly regulated industries including Motorsport, F1 and Automotive.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents and DBS checks will be required. We cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

- Hours:
Afternoons – Mon‑Thurs 2pm-11pm / Fri 12pm-8pm (earlier finish on Fridays) - Permanent position with a market leading precision engineering business
- Setting, operating and editing multi‑axis CNC Milling machines
- Machining complex, metallic, precision components for highly regulated industries such as Automotive, Motorsport, F1 and Aerospace within a fast‑paced environment
- Working from engineering drawings and 3D models
- Minimum of 5 years experience setting, operating and editing multi‑axis Milling machines
- Mazak experience is essential
- Siemens or Fanuc control experience also welcomed
Ability to program CNC milling machines is preferable but not essential - Experience running multi‑axis machining centres would be advantageous
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Previous experience machining complex components, ideally within aerospace, motor sport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
