Interaction Engineering - MIG Welder / Fabricator - Structural Steel
Location:
Northampton
A leading name in structural steel fabrication is seeking an accomplished MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their expanding operation. This company delivers precision‑engineered solutions across commercial and industrial sectors and is looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in producing first‑class workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Execute high‑quality MIG welding on structural steel components
- Interpret and work from detailed fabrication and engineering drawings
- Measure, cut, assemble, and prepare steel using a variety of fabrication machinery
- Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Work efficiently both independently and within a team to achieve project deadlines
- Demonstrable experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication
- Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Competent with fabrication tools and equipment, including grinders, saws, and drills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding workmanship
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) advantageous
- CSCS card beneficial but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment
