An established manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. • £17.00-£18.00 per hour basic rate
• Contracted 45-hour week
• 37.5 hours paid at standard rate
• Additional 7.5 hours per week paid at 1.5x overtime rate
• Annual earnings of approximately £45,756 | Average Earnings of £50,000-£55,000

• Monday to Friday day shifts

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing equipment (Conveyors, Motors, Gearboxes)
• Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnosing and repairing production machinery breakdowns
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
• Working to maximise plant efficiency and uptime

• Minimum 3 years' experience within a maintenance engineering role
• Background within manufacturing, production, process, food, packaging, recycling, FMCG, or similar environments
• Relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent/time served
• Mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled maintenance experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
