Northampton Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Monday to Friday, 6:00am2:30pm Hours per week:

Quest Employment are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative to join our client's growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a manufacturing, engineering or automotive background who enjoys practical work, has good attention to detail and can use their own initiative.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, creative and confident in suggesting new ideas and improvements to help support the production team.
Key Responsibilities Operate a range of hand tools and power tools to assemble products to specification. Follow detailed work instructions, technical drawings and blueprints. Assemble components accurately and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues during the manufacturing process. Suggest ideas and improvements to support production efficiency and quality.
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines. Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider production team.
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment . Previous experience within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous. Confident using hand tools and power tools. Able to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints and detailed instructions. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills. Able to use your own initiative and contribute ideas to the team.
Good communication skills. Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
