Are you an experienced
Manufacturing Engineer with experience using Hyper Mill and Verticutlooking to work on highly complex, high-performance products? Our client is an internationally recognised engineering business with a strong track record in thedesign, manufacture and production of precision components. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to generate CNC Programs and define and develop manufacturing methods.
Contract – Inside IR35

8am-5pm Monday–Thursday, 8am-4pm on Friday
Northampton
Job Description- Define and developmanufacturing methods and processes to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Designfixturing and work-holding solutions, supporting assembly and implementation.
- GenerateCNC programmes and support machining programme and tooling prove-out.
- Work with tooling suppliers to identify cost-effective and advanced tooling solutions.
- Collaborate with Machine Shop, Sub-Assembly and Inspection teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Extensive experience programming
Hyper
Mill and Vericut, including complex simultaneous5-axis machining. - Well-versed working in a highly regulated, precision manufacturing industry, ideally within automotive, aerospace or motor sport.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience programming turning and mill-turn machining centres would be advantageous.
