Production Operatives – PM Shift
Location:
Northampton, NN4
Salary: £14.71 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 14:00–22:00

Looking for a permanent manufacturing role with excellent benefits and opportunities to develop?
We're recruiting two Production Operatives to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in Northampton.
These are hands-on positions within the Sectional department, offering the opportunity to learn new skills, operate manufacturing equipment and become part of an experienced production team.
Previous manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates from warehouse, construction, engineering or other practical backgrounds who are reliable, hardworking and keen to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
* Operating production machinery and equipment.
* Assembling and handling manufactured components.
* Using hand and power tools.
* Carrying out visual quality checks and identifying defects.
* Following production instructions and manufacturing processes.
* Working to daily production and quality targets.
* Handling and positioning materials and components.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Following Health & Safety procedures.
Working Environment
The Sectional department involves working with lead-based materials in a controlled manufacturing environment. Appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment are required. The position also involves regular manual handling, lifting and physically demanding work.
Full training will be provided on the relevant manufacturing processes and safe working procedures.

* Comfortable undertaking physical work and manual handling.
* Practical ability and willingness to learn new skills.
* Good attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

* A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
