Marketing ManagerSalary – 40k - £45k dependent on experience
About the roleWe're looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to develop and deliver our marketing strategy across a diverse and evolving organisation.
This is a full-time, varied role that combines strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery. You'll lead marketing campaigns, oversee major digital development projects, strengthen our brand presence, and help improve how we engage with customers and colleagues alike.
Working closely with operational teams, customer‑facing teams and senior leadership, you'll ensure marketing activity supports business growth, enhances the customer experience, and delivers measurable results.
The role will involve some UK travel, including visits to operational sites.
What you'll be doing- Developing and delivering marketing plans aligned to business objectives and growth targets
- Leading multi‑channel marketing campaigns across digital, traditional and customer engagement channels
- Managing website redevelopment projects and driving improvements to the online customer experience
- Supporting the implementation of online booking, e‑commerce and customer self‑service capabilities
- Growing customer engagement and acquisition across both B2B and growing B2C channels
- Managing relationships with external agencies, suppliers and digital partners
- Monitoring performance, reporting on key metrics, and using insight to improve marketing effectiveness
- Improving internal communications and helping teams stay informed, connected and engaged
- Degree‑level qualification in Marketing, Business or a related subject
- Experience in a marketing management role with responsibility for strategy and delivery
- Experience managing website, digital platform or customer journey improvement projects
- Ability to analyse data, measure performance and make evidence‑based decisions
- Experience managing budgets and evaluating return on investment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across different teams
- Postgraduate or professional marketing qualification
- Experience with in a multi‑site organisation
- Experience across both B2B and B2C marketing environments
- Experience in the veterinary, cremation, funeral care or related sectors
