As our Social Media Manager Europe, you will be responsible for developing and executing Bau Watch's social media strategy across Europe, strengthening our brand, engaging key audiences and supporting business growth across 11 markets.

Responsibilities
  • Social Media Strategy & Channel Management
    • Develop and execute the European Group social media strategy aligned with Bau Watch's marketing objectives and brand vision.
    • Launch, manage and continuously develop Bau Watch's Group Social Media presence across Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, You Tube and emerging platforms.
    • Define channel‑specific content approaches, publishing cadence and audience engagement strategies.
    • Monitor platform developments, emerging social media trends and AI innovations, recommending new opportunities where relevant.
  • Content & Campaign – Planning & Execution
    • Plan, create, coordinate and publish engaging content across all Group social media channels.
    • Develop integrated social media campaigns supporting brand awareness, thought leadership, customer stories, product launches, events and lead generation initiatives.
    • Collaborate closely with Brand & Content, Digital, Design, Sales, Segment, Product and local Marketing Teams to deliver consistent messaging across Europe.
    • Ensure social media supports wider integrated marketing campaigns across PR, content marketing, events and demand generation.
    • Coordinate external agencies or freelancers where required to scale.
  • Community Management & Employee Advocacy
    • Maintain a positive and consistent brand presence across all channels.
    • Manage and grow Bau Watch's online communities by responding to comments, questions and conversations in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide Group‑level content and frameworks that local market teams can adapt and localize.
    • Build relationships with relevant industry communities, partners and influencers that provide value for the Bau Watch brand.
  • Community & Social Listening
    • Lead social listening using Meltwater and other monitoring tools to track brand reputation, customer conversations, competitor activity and emerging industry trends.
    • Capture recurring customer questions, industry discussions and market insights and translate these into actionable recommendations for Marketing, Sales and the wider business.
    • Monitor competitor social activity and benchmark Bau Watch against industry best practice.
  • Performance, Analytics & Optimisation
    • Define, monitor and continuously improve key social media KPIs including engagement, audience growth, reach, Share of Voice, website traffic and campaign contribution.
    • Analyse channel performance and audience behaviour to identify opportunities for optimisation.
    • Produce quarterly performance reports with clear recommendations and actionable insights.
    • Run continuous testing of content formats, messaging, posting times and creative approaches to maximise performance.
    • Collaborate closely with the Performance Marketing team to align paid and organic social activity and maximise ROI.
  • AI & Innovation
    • Use AI‑powered tools to improve content creation, campaign planning, workflow efficiency, reporting and performance optimisation.
    • Develop AI‑enabled workflows that increase speed, quality and scalability of social media planning, publishing and reporting.
    • Explore new AI capabilities and emerging technologies to keep Bau Watch at the forefront of modern B2B social media marketing.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure all social media activity complies with Bau Watch Brand Guidelines, Tone of Voice and Social Media Policy.
    • Stay informed about relevant regulations, platform policies and industry best practices across the European market.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all European markets while allowing flexibility for local adaptation where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B social media management in a European multi‑market environment.
  • Proven track record of building and growing channels such as Linked In, Instagram and Reddit as B2B channels both operationally and strategically.
