Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer
Banbury, Oxfordshire | Hybrid Working | £40,000 + Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join a growing and successful organisation based in Banbury.
This position would suit an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Supplier Development Engineer or Manufacturing Quality Engineer looking for a role that combines supplier quality management, auditing, continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier compliance, quality performance and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting supplier audits and supplier quality assessments.
• Supporting supplier onboarding and approval processes.
• Managing supplier performance monitoring activities.
• Driving supplier quality improvements and corrective actions.
• Investigating non-conformances, customer complaints and audit findings.
• Performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
• Supporting procurement and supply chain teams with quality-related activities.
• Producing quality planning documentation including ISIR and DFMEA documentation.
• Building effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful as a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you should have:
• Experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Supplier auditing experience.
• Continuous improvement experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good Microsoft 365 skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
