BDM (SaaS) | Northampton (3 days a week) | 40-50k + commission
You’ve probably hit that point where you know you can outperform most salespeople…
but you’re stuck selling the same way as everyone else.
Remote. Transactional. Crowded.
This role is different.
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager for a CRM software business based in Central Northampton. You’ll own new business locally, spend time on-site with customers, and build real relationships rather than chasing volume from behind a screen.
This is old-school selling done properly, backed by modern tools.
What you’ll be doing- Owning new business end to end
- Building pipeline through networking, events, Linked In, partnerships, and smart outbound
- Getting out on-site and becoming the local go-to for CRM
You’ll have warm inbound signals, intent data, and marketing support. But the expectation is clear: you create momentum.
Why this is a good move- High autonomy and fast trust
- Work directly with a Sales Director who’s done the job founder-led
- Commission that actually rewards winners (realistic chance to earn your base again)
- Genuine progression if you want it. A future Sales Director seat isn’t off the table
- Sell consultatively and ethically
- Can generate pipeline, not just rely on referrals
- Enjoy being in front of people and building trust face to face
- Want to build something, not just carry a number
- Strong commission on top
- Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 remote)
- Central Northampton
- Driving licence and own car required
If you want a sales role where your effort actually shows up in the results and you’re close to the decision-makers, send over your CV or drop me a quick note about what you’re selling now and what you want next.
