Parts Advisor - Kettering Main Dealer

Our client, a well-established family-run main dealership with over 20 years of success in the motor trade, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their dedicated aftersales team in Kettering. This is a standalone Parts Advisor role, offering genuine autonomy to take ownership of the parts department and contribute meaningfully to the dealership's continued success.

• Managing retail and trade parts enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
• Supplying parts accurately and promptly to the workshop team
• Ordering, receiving, and maintaining optimal stock levels
• Processing invoices, warranties, and return procedures with accuracy
• Identifying sales opportunities through excellent customer service
• Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to enhance department performance

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade sector
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Well-developed organisational and IT skills
• Self‑motivated with the confidence to work independently
• Ability to manage stock efficiently and handle multiple priorities effectively

• Basic salary of £28,000 with bonus and overtime opportunities, with OTE reaching approximately £32,000
