Retail Security Officer

Kingdom Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our valued partner, Poundstretcher, for a Retail Security Officer to join the team at Poundstretcher, 34 Gold Street, Northampton, NN1 1RS
., As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service. Your duties will include:

• Providing a visible security presence within the store.
• Conducting regular store patrols.
• Monitoring and reporting incidents.
• Completing Incident Reports and Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) entries.
• Preventing theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour.
• Carrying out surveillance around the store.
• Supporting store management and staff.
• Building positive relationships with customers, tenants, and visitors.
• Resolving issues and conflict in a calm and professional manner.
• Ensuring all security procedures are followed.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
  If you hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, have excellent customer service skills, and are looking for a permanent role with a reputable security provider, we’d love to hear from you., A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A professional approach with strong observational skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A full five-year checkable employment history.
• Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
  Friday & Saturday
• Friday: 09:00am - 6:00pm
• Saturday: 09:00am - 6:00pm

Pay Rate £12.71 per hour
