Position: Construction Labourer (Permanent)

We're working with a leading company in Northampton who need a trainee Maintenance Technician to join their field based team. MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE DUE TO A RURAL HEAD OFFICE LOCATION.

Company training and qualifications
8am-5pm Monday to Friday (No weekends)

Very sociable company with staff events As a Labourer, you'll be learning the ropes from skilled Maintenance Technicians working alongside a strong team to learn how to install and maintain equipment on construction sites. This isn't just a labouring job where you're treated like a number. You'll be learning the trade, getting hands-on with the machinery, and building skills that'll take you to becoming a fully trained technician.

We're talking about a proper career path, not just a job.

So, what will you be doing in this role? Here's the lowdown:

Conducting inspections of installed equipment
Complete general maintenance and servicing work
General metalwork, woodworking and touch ups
Surfacing using a range of materials
Completing reports following inspections
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Using a range of construction tools and equipment

Now, let's talk about who we're looking for. We need someone with:

Must have strong practical skills, ideally with a knowledge of construction processes
Able to work with your hands and use various hand tools
CSCS card preferred
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independantly and within a team
Must be able to drive
