As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
We’ll equip you for success from day one — with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

Compensation and Working Hours- A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000
- A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
- 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays
- Earnings That Motivate - a market-competitive base salary of £38,625, with potential to up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime. A full-time 40-hour week, with Monday-Saturday availability (8am-8pm), offers flexibility and stability
- Opt-in Guaranteed Overtime - after your first month, you can work extra rest days at £30 per hour; one extra day could earn you £3,000 more per year, two extra days £5,000 more

- You like mixing things up. Servicing, diagnostics, repairs, checks, stock management, reporting, and customer conversations.
- You think on your feet. You’ll be trusted to make the right call for each customer with different fixes and challenges every day.
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
