Job Title :
Qualified Social Worker - Parenting Assessment Safeguarding
Pay Rate: £38 per hour
Location:

Northamptonshire's Children's Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with a focus on Parenting Assessments within our Safeguarding team. If you have a proven track record in undertaking high-quality parenting assessments and are committed to safeguarding children, this role could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role:
In this key position, you will be responsible for delivering thorough and accurate parenting assessments, ensuring the safety and well-being of children within the context of their family environments. Your assessments will help guide care plans and decision-making processes to support families in need and safeguard children from harm.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking comprehensive parenting assessments including pre-birth plans.
Writing clear and detailed assessment reports for court proceedings.
Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure the child's needs are fully supported.
Adhering to safeguarding procedures and national child protection legislation.
Contributing to care planning and reviewing assessments regularly to ensure the safety of children.
Key Requirements:
Core Parent Assessment Training completed and evidenced, along with experience in pre-birth plans.
Strong knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation.
Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
