The Role at a Glance
Location:
The Beeches UK
Hours:
40 hours per week (including sleep‑ins, weekends, and shifts)
Salary: £31,907 per annum + up to £700 additional pay per month for sleep‑in shifts
Sleep‑In Pay:
Up to £700 per month (dependent on sleep‑ins worked)
Shift Pattern: 1 day on, 2 days off rotation
Overtime:
Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked
Visa Sponsorship:
This role is not eligible for UK skilled worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
We are looking for experienced, caring, and committed Residential Care Workers to join our team full‑time at The Beeches UK. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a stable and nurturing home environment – one where they can grow, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.
You will play a key role in young people's daily lives, helping them develop independence, resilience, and essential life skills. Experience in childcare or a related setting is preferred, and your knowledge and insight will directly shape the quality of care we provide.
Your Responsibilities- Providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment for young people
- Building positive, trusting relationships that help young people thrive
- Supporting and contributing to individual care plans and daily routines
- Maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports
- Promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive life skills
- Experience: Working with children and young people in a care, education, or support setting is preferred but not essential
- Passion: A genuine, person‑centred approach to supporting young people
- Qualification: Level 3 in Children & Young People's Residential Care or working towards
- Driving: Full UK driving licence preferred
- Approach: Positive, resilient, and a collaborative team player who can work flexibly across shifts
