SW Locums is recruiting an experienced Social Worker
- Safeguarding to join Northamptonshire Children’s Trust in a rewarding safeguarding assignment based at Penrith Drive Children Centre.

You’ll join a dedicated Prevention & Safeguarding service supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs.

The team manages cases transferring from DAAT at the first Initial Child Protection Conference or first Child in Need meeting, supporting families through to closure. Where cases progress to court proceedings or long-term care, they transfer to the relevant Children in Care teams.

This is an opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can hit the ground running, manage risk effectively and deliver purposeful social work that makes a difference.

The service may require office attendance according to operational needs, including potentially up to five days per week.
