HGV Class 1 Driver needed for night shifts for immediate starts in Pineham, Northampton working a Monday to Friday shift pattern- £20ph

Monday to Friday Shift Pattern!!

Pure Staff are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Driver working night shifts for the following role below.

Duties of a HGV Class 1 Driver-

• deliveries to be done using a tail lift/side gate and kick plate
• Roll cage and pipe deliveries
• Up to 250kg cages- heavy handball on all deliveries
• Modern, well looked after trucks.
• Daily Vehicle checks.
• A professional manner when dealing with the end customer.
• Always Wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis).

Pay rates-

Nights: £20.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY

Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or or Payroll Processing Fees.

A site induction, driving assessment and drug & alcohol test will be carried out on site. You must pass all 3 to be considered for this role.

Start times can vary but we are looking to start between 16:00 – 22:00 on nights. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average. There will be a mixture of short and long shifts.

The customer is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers who are flexible to work a Monday to Friday shift pattern.

The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will have-

• A valid HGV C+E HGV Class 1 Driver License
• 2 years’ experience is essential for this role.
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Card
• Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
