HGV Class 2 Driver for immediate starts in Crick working day shifts in Northampton, Crick – up to £17.76 per hour.

Pure Staff are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work alongside one of our clients in Crick on day shifts on a Monday to Friday shift pattern.

Pay rates:

Hourly pay rate is £17.76, with an additional holiday pay accrual of £2.14 per hour, banked and paid when annual leave is taken.

Pure Staff does not apply weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees to candidates.

Duties of a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• Deliver pallets to stores and unload
• Perform 5–6 drops per shift, using a pump truck
• Handle store keys responsibly
• Set alarms at stores
• Maintain vehicle in a good condition
• Display a positive mentality
• Work Monday to Friday shift pattern

Our client is a UK and European retailer with many stores across the country selling unique items.

The ideal HGV Class 2 Driver will have:

• Valid HGV Class 2 driver licence
• Minimum of 1 year Class 2 experience required
• Valid CPC card
• Valid digital card
• Clean driving licence with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Shifts can be long, up to 10–12 hours per shift on average in line with tachograph law.
